Victims’ Families Support David Solet

"My son Justin was 21 years old when he was shot and killed in Cambridge. A group of thugs tried to rob him in the basement of a Harvard University dormitory. David Solet was there for me through the worst time in my life. He was with me every step of the way. And after my son’s killers were convicted, we stayed close. We are still friends to this day."

“In 1991, my sister Patricia Moreno was just 17 when she was shot in cold blood on a fire escape in Malden. But no arrest was made. Thirty years passed, and we had nearly lost hope. We wondered if anyone remembered Tricia. But David Solet never gave up on the case. He brought her killer back from Georgia to stand trial, and he won. Today, my sister’s killer is in prison, serving a life sentence. He didn’t get away with it"

“In 2009 my sister Charline Rosemond went missing. A week later her body was found in Somerville – she had been robbed and shot in the head. For sixteen years, we wondered who had taken my sister Charline from us. But no one could give us answers - the case had gone cold. When we met David Solet, he gave us hope. And not long after that, he called with the news we had waited for for so long: my sister’s killer was in custody.”

“In 2012, in the middle of the night, masked gang members forced their way into my family's home in Billerica. They shot my son Quintin when he tried to protect us. He died in his brother’s arms. David Solet got us justice. One gangster after the other, David Solet took three cases to trial and won three first-degree murder verdicts. And then he got the getaway drivers.”
